After-hours monitoring is a remote camera-monitoring service for the periods when a property is closed or has fewer people on site. An operator observes the camera views authorized by the client, looks for defined events, and follows a written escalation procedure.
Depending on your property and camera coverage, after-hours monitoring can help identify the types of events shown below.
People entering a site or restricted area without authorization.
Fence jumping or other activity indicating possible perimeter intrusion.
Vehicles or activity in a closed parking lot, yard, or construction site.
Potential theft or suspicious activity around equipment, stock, or property.
Other events defined by the client that are visible through the cameras.
The monitoring team does not physically intervene or replace on-site guards, law enforcement, or emergency responders. Its role is to observe, communicate, and take only the actions authorized by the client.
The right response depends on the site, the equipment, and the client’s instructions. Before coverage begins, we define the event categories, escalation contacts, and actions operators are allowed to take.
The operator reviews the authorized camera view and follows the client’s criteria for determining whether activity needs to be reported. The team records the time, camera or site area, and relevant observations.
Where a site has an alarm or speaker/intercom system, the client may authorize the operator to activate it when a defined event occurs. A client-approved voice message may instruct an unauthorized person to leave the property. This step is used only when the system and response are included in the written SOP.
The client may instruct the operator to notify a guard stationed at the property, a site manager, or another named contact. The message can identify the location or camera area so that personnel on site can respond.
Some clients authorize operators to call 911 or a specified security number for defined incidents. Operators make such calls only according to the client-approved instructions, contact list, and escalation sequence. Emergency and security-call procedures are established before service begins; they are not assumed to be the same for every property.
The team records what was observed, who was contacted, whether an alarm was activated, and the actions taken under the site’s procedure. Reports are shared with the client in the agreed format.
After-hours monitoring is most effective when the operator knows exactly what to watch for and what to do next. We work with the client to document the monitoring process before coverage begins.
The client reviews and approves the SOP before monitoring begins. Operators follow the documented instructions rather than making independent response decisions.
Authority is defined before coverage starts.Site boundaries, restricted zones, entrances, and camera views in scope

Whether a speaker/intercom or alarm may be activated

Whether and when an operator may call 911 or another emergency number
The order of contacts and backup steps if a person does not answer
What details the operator should record and how reports should be delivered
Operators do not independently confront, pursue, or physically intervene with anyone. On-site guards or appropriate emergency responders handle physical response.
Some properties need monitoring only after the workday ends. Others require overnight and weekend coverage, or continuous monitoring throughout the week. We build the roster around the hours the site needs covered, camera setup, expected activity, and response requirements.
A continuous schedule requires a team roster across shifts and days off. The staffing plan is not based on a single operator being available around the clock. Coverage hours, handoffs, escalation contacts, and reporting expectations are agreed before launch.
Synthesis BPO is a sister concern of VisionSync Solutions LLC, a U.S.-registered company. Monitoring personnel may be based in India or the Philippines, and we make the delivery locations clear before camera access is granted.
The client defines which camera views and system permissions are provided, the events in scope, and the actions operators may take. Access and authority are documented in the service agreement and site SOP. Camera access and footage are not shared with unrelated third parties.
We do not claim to hold CCTV, security, HIPAA, SOC, ISO, or other certifications or licenses for this service, and we do not promise “100% data security.” The camera system’s technical controls, privacy requirements, delivery arrangement, and access permissions should be reviewed and agreed before service begins.
This anonymized example shows how staffing, restricted areas, and alarm procedures can work together for continuous monitoring.
Synthesis BPO supports an unnamed parking facility with approximately 40 cameras. A roster of around 15 monitoring resources provides coverage throughout the week.
The site has areas where unauthorized access is not permitted. If an operator observes a person entering through a restricted perimeter, the operator can activate an approved alarm.
The alarm signals on-site security guards and identifies the area where the intrusion is occurring, allowing the guards at the property to respond.
This example illustrates a client-approved alarm-to-guard process for a continuously monitored parking property. It does not imply that every client uses the same alarm system or needs the same staffing level. The client is not named.
After-hours CCTV monitoring is typically priced at 7–10 per person, per hour. The final proposal depends on the coverage schedule, camera type and count, site layout, event categories, alarm/intercom setup, and required staffing.
A site that needs continuous coverage requires a roster across shifts. We review the operating hours and response procedures with you, then agree on staffing and pricing before service begins.

After-hours monitoring is remote observation of a property’s camera feeds during the times the site is closed or has limited on-site personnel. Operators follow client-approved procedures to identify and report defined events.
The service can be scoped for parking lots, construction sites, yards, and other facilities where unauthorized access, intrusion, or after-hours activity is a concern. The camera views, coverage hours, and SOP are customized for each property.
Yes, where the property has the relevant equipment and the client has authorized its use. The client approves the message and defines the situations in which the operator may activate it.
They can call 911 or a designated security number only when the client has explicitly authorized that action and provided the applicable instructions. The escalation sequence and contact details are documented before monitoring begins.
Yes. Monitoring can be scheduled for after-hours periods only or arranged as continuous coverage, depending on the property’s needs. Continuous coverage uses a team roster across shifts.
No monitoring service can guarantee that every incident will be prevented or detected. The team observes the available camera views, follows the client’s event criteria, and takes the authorized notification or alarm steps.
Monitoring staff may be based in India or the Philippines. Synthesis BPO is a sister concern of U.S.-registered VisionSync Solutions LLC. The delivery locations and access arrangements are disclosed and agreed before service begins.
Typical pricing is $7–$10 per person, per hour. The final quote depends on hours, camera configuration, staffing, and the response actions included in the SOP.
